The Math Museum features programs specially designed for you and your family. Some programs can be enjoyed by parents, youngsters, and educators together, while others are geared to either adult or child levels. Many programs involve a hands-on project that the participants can take home.
The program topics include: Videospheres, Tangrams, Origami, Math in Navigation, Math in Architecture, Egg Decorating, Calendars, Paper Airplanes, Music and Math...and more!
Mathematics Resource Library
The Math Museum has a large library of math resources to assist you on student projects, reports, and teacher curriculum development. Originally begun with founder Goudreau's own books, the Library has grown through donations from educators, scientists, and engineers. Appointments can be made to use these books on the premises, both by individuals and by entire school classes. A subject file has been set up to facilitate searching for particular topics.

Hours
The Math Museum is open for
visits most Saturdays from September to June from noon until 3
p.m. Visitors may try out puzzles and games, view geometric
models, purchase items at the Museum Store, and use the math
library. It is suggested that you call ahead to confirm these hours.

Museum Store
Discover the magic of math with gifts of math that reinforce workshop themes and stimulate further learning. Prices range from 25¢ to $42, to fit youngster's as well as adult budgets.

navigational cruises on the sloop Clearwater; a lecture by George
Escher about his famous father, M.C. Escher; a lecture by Simon
Singh, author of Fermat's Enigma; an annual Pi
Day competition, annual
Math Tournament and
annual awards dinner to honor individuals for outstanding math
achievements.
